Accessories & Test Blocks

Every consumable and attachment listed as standard or optional in the ETS leaflets is available ex-stock: diamond and ball indenters, flat and V-groove testing tables, certified Rockwell and Brinell test blocks, Brinell microscopes, jack rests and step inserts, thermal printers and the PC reporting software used across the range.
Eklavya Techno Solutions stocks in Ichalkaranji, India every consumable and attachment listed as standard or optional in its hardness tester and universal testing machine leaflets, so a machine never waits for a worn indenter, a lost test block or a new fixture. For Rockwell testers there are diamond indenters in regular RA and superficial SF form, 1/16 inch ball indenters and certified Rockwell C, Rockwell B and HR 30 N test blocks. For Brinell there are 2.5 mm ball indenters, 5 mm and 10 mm ball holders, tungsten-carbide balls in 2.5, 5 and 10 mm, Brinell measuring microscopes and HBW 2.5/187.5, HB 5/750 and HB 10/3000 test blocks; for Vickers a 136-degree diamond pyramid and HV test blocks.
Work holding covers 50 mm and 250 mm flat tables, 38 mm and 70 mm V-groove tables for 6 to 45 mm and 10 to 80 mm rounds, 5 mm step inserts and jack rests for long and heavy jobs, plus clamping devices, telescopic screw sleeves, machine covers and spare fuses. Digital, motorised and touch-screen testers can be fitted with the built-in thermal printer and PC reporting software with USB CSV export. For UTMs, ETS supplies wedge, vice and threaded grips, compression platens, bending fixtures, shear attachments and the EE2 extensometer.

Match the block to the scales you use: Rockwell C and Rockwell B blocks for regular Rockwell, an HR 30 N block for superficial scales, HBW 2.5/187.5 for Rockwell cum Brinell machines, HB 5/750 and HB 10/3000 for the B3000 and LB3000 Brinell testers and an HV block for Vickers. Certified blocks are supplied with every new machine and replacements are available ex-stock.
Replace a diamond indenter when the test block reading drifts or the tip is visibly chipped, and a ball indenter or carbide ball when it shows flats or deformation. A test block should be retired once its usable surface is covered with impressions, since each test must be made on untouched material. Daily block checks reveal the need before results are affected.
Flat tables of 50 mm and 250 mm, V-groove tables of 38 mm for 6 to 45 mm rounds and 70 mm for 10 to 80 mm rounds, 5 mm step inserts to raise small parts, jack rests to support long or heavy jobs that overhang the table, and clamping devices to hold thin or unstable pieces steady under the indenter.
The built-in thermal printer and the PC reporting software with USB CSV export are available for the digital, motorised and touch-screen models. Whether a specific machine can be retrofitted depends on its model and age, so contact ETS with the model and serial number and the options will be confirmed. Dial testers have no electronic output.
Wedge grips for round and flat specimens, vice grips, threaded grips for fasteners and machined specimens, compression platens, three-point and four-point bending fixtures, shear attachments and the EE2 strain-gauge extensometer with 1 micrometre resolution. State the machine model, specimen sizes and test standard when enquiring so the correct fixture is quoted.
Reference test blocks and indenters for Rockwell are covered by IS 1586 (Part 3), ASTM E18 and ISO 6508-3, and for Brinell by IS 1500 (Part 3). ETS test blocks are certified so that machine verification at installation and routine checks are traceable; ETS also offers calibration of hardness testers with traceable certificates across India.
